Tommy and Gladys Hutchison started supplying petfoods from Wheatpark Farm outside Ayr in the early 1970’s.
What started as a sideline to their day jobs quickly turned into a passion for pets when they bought Ballochmyle Hatchery in Mauchline, renovating the existing buildings and opening Southfield Kennels with the attached pet supplies business in 1975.
This was the start of a family business which now spans three generations and offers their loyal customers the very best in natural treats and supplements alongside high protein, grain and additive free foods for cats and dogs, raw foods and chunks, and quality wild bird products.
